The secret is in the ingredients. A few years ago it was a whole lot easier to judge (or guess) the effectiveness of pheromones because manufacturing companies where a lot more transparent with their products. They would tell you exactly what was in each bottle and how much of each chemical you’d expect in each bottle.
However, nowadays there is a whole lot more competition in the market place and these companies are now holding their cards closer to their chest…which is completely understandable – they don’t want to give away their secrets sauce, you see! The problem with this for us, the folks who actually buy the stuff, is that we’ve recently seen a surge of new products that are designed for one thing – to part you with your hard earned cash!
Here’s the thing – there are 3 core ingredients that you should look out for when you’re looking to buy a pheromone product – and the effect the cologne or perfume has on the opposite sex will greatly vary depending on the concentration of the ingredients…Sounds a little confusing but I assure it’s not!
Here are the 3 most common ingredients and how they work:
- Androstenone – Works strongly as a sexual attractant. Pheromone products that are high in androstenone will help the wearer appear more dominant and add a bit of sexual tension to the situation. As a beginner, I highly recommend you stay away from these types of colognes until you get your feet wet. As they say, you gotta learn to walk before you can run. - Androsterone – Works by creating an alpha male aura for the wearer. Products that have a high androsterone concentration are great if you’re a little shyer than the average Joe and you’re looking to for something to help give your confidence that kick that it needs. I like to think of these types of pheromone products as more of an intermediate level of colognes.
- Androstenol – Works as an incredibly powerful icebreaker. The way products with a high androstenol content work is they put a woman at ease a whole lot more. You’ll give off a feeling that will make women far more relaxed and trusting around you…perfect for if you’re looking to catch the eye of someone at school or at work.
